Exactly How Is The Bannings Done?
« on: July 18, 2007, 04:10:00 PM »

You see, I'm very keen on flashing my 'box to play some backup games, but I'm still a bit paranoid over the bannings.

I'm just wondering how the procedure is done, because for example: If I were to flash my samsung dvd with the 360 connectivity kit, then download and burn games to play without ONCE having my network cable plugged in, can I consider myself 'safe'?

I've understood that your theories on this matter is that the Xbox 360 logs either the DVD-power errorcode in it's memory to flag an xbox for 'surveillance' or that it logs those checks with your backup games right?

When and how is that information uploaded then? If I were to reflash my DVD to it's original, jack in the network cable and play some originals online, could I be banned? How big of a risk is that then? Is there some way to prevent this?

I heard talk about some firmware called iXtreme online? How is that coming along? Or is that an old firmware?

If the current firmware group for the Samsung drive came up with a new banproof firmware (For now at least), could I hypothetically use that firmware forever, and never be banned, if I never updated my 360 online?

I hope you can bother to read, and answer all of my questions and I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section. These questions has been eating me for quite a while.

Thanks for your time
