New Hitachi 1.2 Firmware... Tsop Programmer ?

Dont double post. A tsop programer is a tool that allows you to desolder the firmware chip from the DVD drive and dump and flash it externaly. I would just wait if I were you because you can mess up your drive if you dont know what you are doing.

I think his double posting was an accident... but anyway...

For v79 hitachi's you need to install a special flashing chip (11 wires) that will allow you to software flash the v79 drives.
