@W0bbie
Everything on the xbox 360 is 'married' and non-transferable. So if you swap the CPU, you'd have to swap the NAND, and swap the NAND, you'd also most likely have to swap the GPU with both of those, and the DVD drive, that's a lot of work, and if you had the assetts to do that anyway, just play on that xbox 360 you dimwit. Everything on the xbox 360 is per-box, so they have keys to eachother and such. The NAND is encrypted using the per-box fuseset values in SHA-1. M$ has all console ID's on THEIR servers, so you need a valid ID.
@jayfunk
That's a whole different realm than what this is, you guys are talking about trying to get back on live with a banned console, which is VERY out of out reach of goals.
@rss112
That whole post has absolutely nothing to do with what this whole thread is about.

The Prankster, your very short sighted as "Jayfunk" has stated and his point was in return to your lame comment about it being impossible.
the ID will be possible to change as they have always been, all we need to do is find the Cypher for the Encryption, which over time will become far simpler, then reprogram the chip with its new identity.
Have you even worked on modded consoles? or are you just here to flame? everytime a console is released the company stats their impossible to hack, run homebrew firm, but we alla know that they can and do.
M$ have maybe 100,000 brains working on the 360 "I'm not sure on the numbers just a ruff guess as its an example" but i'm sure that there are more people then that wanting to break there code, all we have to do is work together, the rest will follow as it always does.
