360 Hacking 18 Months On
« on: April 05, 2007, 08:17:00 AM »

Hey fellas (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Its been a while now since the 360 came out and got into the hands of the hackers. About 18 months right?

So, how far, do you feel the community has gone?

Are we on the cusp of something huge with the recent discovery's made by free60.org? Or is the DVD-Firmware hack really all we should look forward to?

I only ask as I feel Microsoft, for once, seem to have gotten its security right. The only hack we can really 'use' is the firmware hack which only allows the playing of backed-up games.

What we all really want is system-freedom like what we all have in our old Xbox's. Will it ever come? Or, should we be happy with what we have and just settle?

Please, no flames or huge philosophical replies  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

with the developments of the hole in older kernals and confirmed downgrading, something huge could be on the brink.
