Logo Inside Of Backwards Compat Xex
« on: March 02, 2007, 10:34:00 PM »

this may be well known I dunno. in the backwards compatible update xex for 1/2007  if you use hexplorer and bring the hex coloums out to 18 wide you'll know you are getting close when you get what looks like lines on a tv while you are adjusting the horizontal hold.  look for a section of  99s in the hex. when you get there if you zoom out or use fixed roman font you can see "microsoft" written upside down in the hex in the 99s.

They stick their logo in all .xex files for legal reasons: easier to claim as intellectual property.
