Umm I feel for you but many of people have successfully flashed there hitachi's and can play backups. Myself included. Just keep trying don't give up.

I've flashed 7 so far and they've all worked, I very much doubt that you have the only unhackable hitachi.

this has happened to me

easily sorted

the 360 has been in pal-50 before you started usin the HD cable , simply hook it up usung the bog standard AV cable.It will then let u change to pal-60

then plug your hd cable back in and away u go

to fix the 60 hz issue boot 360 with old sdtv plug in, and change setting to 60hz there then put vga cable in and it will work.
