hello guys, ive been having trouble with my flashed Hitachi 47 but no problems with my mates flashed 46, After burning game backups my 360 with the Hitachi 46 will play them and my one with 47 will not. No matter how many boot tricks i try with it. I am using TUFDISC dual layer DVD's and they seem to be crap (even though they have a nice dark purple ritek looking dye) but they will play in my mates 46 and another mates 47 hitachi, all have 1.2extreme firmware, My xbox is brand new and reads originals perfectly, could i just have a crappy laser?
Oh and i used pioneer 110 with 8.39 firmware and clonecd
i kind of have the same problem. One game works, 3 dont (the games are all burnt correctly as they work in my samsung drive in my other xbox). I worked out that the one that worked was the one that i ripped and burnt using pioneer 111d whereas the others i used kreons firmware with the samsung shd162C drive. Im using the same media being the Verbatim. Therefore, it is just going to be a matter of determining whether it is the ripping process that i need to change, or the burning process so that the game will work in the hitachi.
