I have a NEC and Lite On.  The disks copied in the NEC will not work....but they come out just fine in the Lite On.  I have a Hitachi drive and am using Fuji disks.

Yup, Lite-On works great for me.... I have a Hitachi w/ the Geremia Patch and my backups boot everytime.

I would suggest upgrading to codeguys hacked firmware for the Lite-On for better burning though.... not that's it's NECESSARY, but I think it helps backups boot a lil bit quicker... it can be found at http://codeguys.rpc1.../firmwares.html

Good luck...
