Some Newbie Qustions

Well Im really excited and I now know I can do the hacked for sure. Since my friends has a SATA slot like this tutorial. This tutorial is great and it shows pictures and all. very good for newbies. my qustions are though once i do this tutorial is the extreme firmware still on there at the end? Im kinda confused. Also once i flash this drive do i ever have to flash it with anything else or am i done playing with the drive?

Yeah but after I'm done with this tutorial the Xtreme flash is on it right? Because at the end of the tutorial it says to make sure you put the Xtreme firmware if your going to play backup games. I also have another qustions which is... Do I need a nvidia geforce 4 to do this? I see alot of talk about having a one to do it. Does my computer need one while doing this tutorial? The tutorial doesnt say you need it so Im guessing no but I wanna be sure so I don't fuck anything up!  smile.gif

I'm not sure which tut you're referring to, but you should know which firmware is which and the one you last flashed with, or you shouldn't be doing this.

You need a sata chipset.  Geforce does not make one. Nforce does. Your video card does not factor in here.  You need to read a lot more than the tutorials or you'll have a brick on your hands.   Spend a couple of days reading every post in the newbie, 360 technical, and dvd rom forums, then come back with questions.
