Converting A 360 Controller To Work On An Xbox?
« on: July 10, 2006, 06:16:00 AM »

If your talking about the wired controller whats the point?  The button layouts are a tad different on the 360 and would require alot of work to convert.  The wireless controller is obviously much much harder to do.

Who cares if the button layout is different?  Do you even know what you're talking about?   That's the very very very very very least of anybody's problems.  Heck, it's even a PLUS.    The problem is that the old xbox will not recognize the 360 pad, so the only thing you could possibly do is program and build a convertor similar to the ones sold to use PS2 pads on the xbox.  And nobody's done that yet, so there you go.  Nothing.
