Are both surreal and avalaunch open source? If not I don't see how the source could be compiled for the Xenon, unless they are both emulated.

@the joker:

because apperently you are a member of team avalaunch, moderator here and you got 1300 or so posts, you seem very trustworthy.

Oooo, you're not nailing me to this.   ( aint even got a 360 )  I'm as surprized as you are, but xant have never let me down before. If this was photoshopped, he would never have posted it.

Not that I believe this is real, but in theory if he had avalaunch running it would also be possible for him to be taking screenshots such as on xbox1.

Actually no. Ava would have taken pic of whatever underneath the menu. That much I know. ( different framebuffer )

I was going to say "anonymous and trusted" how does that work but I just saw somebody already pointed that out. I hope this is the real deal but it would be very easy to do on photoshop. Then again XS isn't known for posting news like this without at least some evidence its real. I'm sure we'll find out more in the next few days!. Devil360???

It just seems to easy to Fake.
Can't you also view pictures on your TV from the 360? So, couldn't you be viewing a picture of the Avalaunch Menu and then access the shutdown command?  Wouldn't that give you the exact same screen as shown?
Photoshop is another easy method.

Plus, someone mentioned the whole anonomous AND trusted source?!?! It can't really be both can it?

But, IF it is accurate, it means that Avalaunch or Surreal are running on top of the 360 dashboard.  (Since it is the 360 Dashboard that allows you to access the shutdown command and runs in the background during games.)  I'd be more impressed with a whole new OS running on the 360, not just one being emulated on the 360.

But in all honesty, I think this is just the Xbox 360 skin for XBMC on an Xbox 1.

-Chosen1™

Yeah sure.

<sarcasm>
We all know the Xbox is multithreaded and that XBMC can run in the background while running games or other apps.

Photoshops are more likely... But I also wanna beleive!  blink.gif

i think it's total bullsh*t i looks more like a modified version of blackbolt i have searched numerous places and haven't found a 450+ gig 2.5 drive. as for x-s posting it what about the chip that they posted for the 360 that turned out to be total bs?

not knocking x-s at all their are alot of smart peps here but the info is only as good as the person supplying it.

Who said it is a 2.5 drive? wink.gif
