If you have the wired controller, the turn off controller will not appear. From the following two post you can see how many people have already bit into the story rather than looking at the facts.

Ugh I'm tired of this BS.

You people seriously have nothing better to do then figure out how it's *supposedly* fake.

The admins have said it's ligit, Xecuter has confirmed it, I have confirmed it, it's real.

All you haters out there, find somehting better to do, like a girlfriend

I'd close this thread right now if I had privs in this forum

xecuter never really said anything was to come of the devil360 group.

They said
-it is the spider group who made the xbox 1 modchip
-the spider groups chip was a piece of shit cheap mod
-the spider group has no talent in hardware or software so they doubt they would produce shit.

forget if its spider/spyder who cares.

I imagine your post will be thrown to the bin.  I alsothink the other thread should be closed, but its prob should stay open and let it spam about being fake for 200 pages.  If that one got closed we would just get more people posting "did you hear the news" "OMFG 360 hacked" or "OMFG its fakes" over and over its just pointless.  I think the 360 forums should be hard moderated to stop these threads from coming up.  We got enough photoshoppers in the main thread, we don't need any more of this.  That damn thread has 80k views and was lagging the site down earler.  Damn bastards trying to read my PMs and all these people gots to post that somethings fake, when 20,000 people before them post its fake.

Did I say I doubted the hack was real, no ?... did I say the picture was fake, absolutely. Half of you twits will buy into anything someone else feeds you, when better caps/footage of this exploit take place then I will agree. I am speaking from facts, the pictures do not line up what so ever ! Especially from a screencapture, im sorry but this is blatently smack dab in the face ! If this was reproduced on a dev kit especially !

I think you are just feeling stupid now after all that work you put into trying to prove the pics fake when in fact they are real.  So much for your "expertise".  In fact everyone that talked about the images being fakes in the other thread (especially that laughable guy that does "photoshop" for a living - he should definitely get a new job if that is the extent of his expertise)

Why would a group that has accomplished this, release faked images instead of providing a legit screencap?

I think you should look for a new job.

As for xecuter, they have delivered and proven to be a reputable voice for the scene.

These are two of my screenshots taken with a digital camera blended with one another, you can see the spacing between them. At the current resolution of the fake one, where the blade rests it would clearly overlap the left blade if executed, which would not be acceptable or congruent with design.

IPB Image

This is the result from the Fake image and my screenshot from my computer blended together and aligned as close as possible, while its not apples to apples screencap you can definitely agree that if it were a real capture from a 360 unit the Surreal would render and stretch to the whole screensize.

Is it possible this discrepancy maybe explained by any of the following:

1) The screen resolution of the emulator is different from the normal screen resolution used for the 360? Maybe widescreen vs non-widescreen? Wouldn't that mean this can be used as an argument for instead of against this being the real thing? Could any of this account for the difference in sizes of the screenshots (the third one being bigger and clearly not in "emulation-mode")?
2) Are the screenshots maybe somehow taken digitally therefore maybe the aspect ratio looking different on a TV vs monitor?
3) Are the first two screenshots maybe incomplete? That is: cropped from the left?

Has anyone tried the following: take a xbox game, see if the 360 goes to 640x480 and how do the blades look like when doing this? How much of the 640x480 screen is covered by one blade?

Here is a photo that looks much more like the screenshots provided:

The spacing on the left is much smaller here. So it would seem this is all due to screen resolution (widescreen or simply bigger).

I should smack you for taking pictures with a digital camera and trying to prove the difference.   laugh.gif
