Problems Connecting Samsung Drive To Pc Via Sata
« on: June 26, 2006, 08:20:00 AM »

I had similar problems, but it would help if you could tell us what kinda of motherboard you have, manuafacture and the model. What i do to get good read and writes usually i turn my 360 on right before i hit enter to send the command (mtkflash r /m orig.bin). And i hit enter when i hear my 360 dvd drive make a deep noise, all the 5 360s ive worked on so far make this noice, just listen. But it works fine, your problem seems to be a motherboard issue in my eyes, good luck if you dont post back!  pop.gif

Have disabled all ide and other sata ports and the drive I can see is detected

Have an ASUS NF4 mb and used the nf4 version of the drivers and have uninstalled the nf4 drivers from control panel as well

The NF4 drivers have nothing to do with getting it to work because you need to be running MTKFLash from a DOS boot disk.  Make sure you are using the NF4 version of MTKFlash.
