Why you do not look for you chipset? (Maybe search the forum??)

My chipset is 865 family ich5/ich5r sata and pata enabled and i got hitachi drive

Hi ... ich5/ich5r should work.

I have a different chipset, but the same sata controller and this works like a charm.
Should work for your motherboard also....
