Having Trouble Applying Sss..
« on: June 17, 2006, 09:13:00 AM »

I have finally got a good dvd burner that will let me  backup my games (NEC 3540A), and now that i got my games as an ISO on my computer, i add the ISO to SS merger. And then i add the Security Sector file, but it seems to stay red. Where it shows the MD5 and that stuff. I wanted to know if anyone has a tutorial other than the main ones here at xbox scene, or if im supposed to be doing something else besides adding the 2 files. Please let me know if you have any thoughts, because i am stumped! Thanks!  biggrin.gif

Not all tags are the same.  For Example; NTSC/J and NTSC/U differentiate; you need the right tag.

If they're staying red, either it's the wrong ss code or you have the wrong game highlighted in the box.

Just because the DB finds ****** game, doesn't mean it's the same region / release as your one.

Before you dig a very big hole

The SS will be extracted from the original game so it must be correct
