The hitatchi hack is possible, we have all seen video evidence of it, however it has yet to be publically released.

There are a few guys working on it, but I wouldn't hold your breath at the moment to be honest.

It was posted by a member of this forum as a guide if you wanted to get started on dumping your firmware to prepare for when the real deal comes out.

This is not the real Hitachi Firmware hack.

Just to let you know that you could've asked this question in one of the many Hitachi forums that are already going on this board. We would have gladly answered your questions there.

Ive got a samaung drive  which ive done and dumped the ornigal firware back to to see if i could do it,but i thought the link i posted was for the firmware hack and not just for backing_upthe firwrea (whoops)as with the post being in the wrong place i did mention at the bottom for it to be moved elseware,Thanks for the replys any hows.
