Question About The Two 360 Drive Models...

Correct me/Scold me if I am wrong, but does anyone recall that video of the "first" XBOX 360 DVD drive hack? Wasn't the drive a Hitachi model? I've been doing a bit of research and from what I've gathered there are no firmware hacks for the Hitahci model, only the Samsung... Yet in the video it looks like the 360 running a back-up has a Hitachi DVD drive.

Have they hacked the firmware, but haven't released it to the public? At somewhat of a loss.

Yes he is using the Hitachi drive,but The Specialist never released his hack.
I took a screenshot of the drive.
