Hey guys,

im new to linux on the xbox, but not on the pc. I have a 1.4 ntsc xbox with the UDE2 exploit installed. I was wondering how i can get gentoox SPARKLE running. I have tryed to get it up. I go through the install and after you tell it what partition you want it to install on (F: for me) it says that it can't write to the device.

I have also extracted the ISO and ftp'ed the files from the distro.rar file (like in the tut) and it still doesn't work.

I may sound like a noob (sorry), but could i please get help?

I have UDE2 (although that probably shouldn't matter) and it gave me the same error when trying to install to the F drive.

Just install it to the E drive, then try "magic f-drive" when you boot into gentooxx.

Also, when you did the ftp installation. Where did you put it in? All the files are supposed to go in the root of the E drive fyi.
