Need Help With Getting Drive Key

i still get a 256kb file even though it says error writing file.. i still dont think this file is any good though

i mean 297 kb

I think you are not reading in the correct firmware.  I think it is reading it in from another CD/DVD drive connected to your PC.

If the file is greater than 262,144bytes, then it is not reading the right FW.  Your floppy probably doesn't have enough space to write the file which is why it says it has an error.

the chip you should see is (SST39SF020).  If it is showing up as anything else, something is wrong.

You should ensure that you disconnect any other devices to ensure it is reading and writing the proper device firmware.
