That's fucking mad, are you sure you guys are doing it correctly ?

Of course, I guess it depends on what sort of condition your original is in as well.

Yeah i left mine overnight, but it would of taken around 10 hours to complete my PAL FULL AUTO..... after it was complete isobuster said there are errors in your iso do you want to delete this file? i said no and that was it.

my iso was complete at like 7.08gb or something i forgot the exact size... but the tutorial written by mtksoftware has the part on how to do a game backup and is not clear at all....half of the tut is not clear and has the wrong wording as to which is displayed by some programs e.g "isobuster" and doesn't explain it properly which i had to use other tuts to finish the job. but aside from that then after the isobuster part of dumping your game.iso, it then says for last step. Copy the game.iso and ss.bin to the xbox1 or xbox 360 isobuilder dir....

I dont even have a damn ss.bin! where does this tut pull a ss.bin out from???????? when it doesn't tell you how to obtain it in first place!!!!! now i have to go through the trouble of finding all this out and redoing everything properly!

*sigh* what a waste of time!

i really dont think it should take that long to copy, mine took a long time i thought which was about 30 mins. for GRAW but leaving it overnight i think that might be to long. Maybe its the spec of your pc i know mine arent all that good or even a fast computer for that all i have is a p4 2.8 with 512 or ram nothing else im sure most here have better.

nah, its definitely not the pc specs. got 3 ghz P4, 1GB ram, Intel chipset, stock (no overclocking). I seriously wonder if others have tried to back up NBA Live 2006 and encountered this issue as well.

Well it took me overnight and thats on a 3200+ 512mb ram.... and it barely has anything installed on it to interfere.... it maybe just the tranfser rate throgh my sata port maybe buggy with my board? i might try my other PC which is scoket 939 asus a8v deluxe.

Ok well so if i have the main iso ripped? how do i know it's ripped correctly? is there a way to check it? or can i check it after i have run the iso through the xbox 360.bat to give me my finished iso?

Can anyone point me or quickly post here the procedure to obtain the ss.bin ? i want to be sure it's done right as i don't want a coaster, $7AUD a DVD+R DL Disc isn't an everyday thing lol.

ok, after waiting 5+ hours at 5% extraction in isobuster, i decided to eject the disk and see if I could get it to reread and continue copying. I ejected the disk, got the read error as described on mksoftware's tutorial and performed the following step from the manual : "Save your file as game.iso
When you receive a read error dialogue box, choose fill with blank
zeros for sector and select use this selection for all errors."

Now, the copy is finally progressing. I am currently at 10% and counting =D I will post once a successful backup is complete or if anything changes

ISO dumps take about 30 minutes.  I have done Kameo, Graw, and PGR3 and all three took that amount of time.

Yeah i think some of us are having this problem where its taking foreverrr to complete a rip of an original disc using isobuster.....

For people with this issue chekc out this thread that talks about a different program used to make backups, see if it works better for you  http://forums.xbox-s...howtopic=513689
