Problem Backing Up Firmware.....

The mtkflash is not seeing your sata bus.  As you can see, option 1 and 2 both say IDE.  Your dvd rom is sata and the flash needs to access the sata.  Use the version that came with the xtreme release that says it is for the NFORCE4 chipstet.

If the NF4 MTKFLASH does not work then make sure you check the following:

- unplug all optical drives
- make sure sata controller in bios is set to IDE not RAID
- disable sata device channels in bios, ONLY leave enabled your first sata port (channel 0)
- make sure your plugging into sata 1 port (channel 0) in ur mobo
