Come on guys, at the end of the day we are all looking for the same thing. Who wouldn't want to play a 360 version of XBMC or a good N64 emulator. Just think xport ports on the 360.

Fact is, you don't need a chip. Another fact, such a chip would be illegal to sell in many countries. And no serious money can be made when the software tools and the hacked firmware are released.

I never said that we need a chip... But the FW hack is almost useless becuase all it can do is allow backups to be played. Still doesn't let us run unsigned code... So that means we need another hack before we can load programs.

Yeah even xecuter themselves claim to have no interest or priority to work on hacking the firmware (nor did they in the past). Also I think you mean the belgian guy which still didn't bring any news or confirmation.

There was a flaw in what I said.  

When the XBOX 1 FW hack was first announced I had read somewhere (can't seem to find it now) that the Specialist was a member of Team Xecutor. I can't seem to find that info anywhere now, and it appears he is a member of his own team, so yeah I'm wrong on that... But only because I read bad info somewhere else and didn't check it to make sure it was true when I read it.

Although Team Xecutor does deny working on a hack, they are working on an adapter to easily connect the drive to a PC and something about some software (maybe to flash the FW). It is true that they never said that they hacked the FW though.... But I doubt that they would go through the trouble of creating all the hardware and software if they don't know if the hack would even work. And they are stating that their goal is to make it so that it will be easy enough for anybody to flash it.

Just my speculation, but I think Xecutor already knows how to flash the firmware, but they haven't said it.

Also Krayzie was right, I did mean belgium not Denmark I think I said.

Sorry to call you a noob... I kinda thought you were another one of the kiddies asking how to flash the firmware knowing nothing at all about the 360. I also saw that you were listed as a contributor in the 360 hack... So obviously you can't be a noob.
