If you followed their work on the forum, that is highly unlikely, much of the progress if right there in front of your eyes.

I should have mentioned these people did not come out of the blue, these are some well known hackers including the specialist, who frequently post on this forum

You answered your own question. MS makes money off of games not off of the consoles. I doubt they care about freeware as long as you still buy their games.

the xbox scene was different because the specialist didnt hack the xbox

hes keeping things to himself cause hes appearantly afraid of m$ getting to him, and he doesnt want people to pirate games.

im sure most people would agree though hes not releasing it cause he wants to play backups on live

either way, the information is there, its possible to do it yourself, but takes alot of reading and understanding

The video input could be coming from another 360, the 360 we are shown is plugged into the front of the TV.

Most probably another xbox 360 plugged in via SCART at the back of the TV.

OMGWTF someone has also used a PSP to hack the 360

I'm haxxoring the PS3 right now, all you need is a Cat and some Jam.

it's for the toshiba but succesfull reports for the samsung have been posted as well. as for the fakeness.....everything can be faked. I think if you look at the complete picture and the technicall progress on the site you cannot speak of something fake.

When xbox1 was hacked,remember the sales rate!!!!!

Couple of million more just for that!!!!

Someone should start offering this mod for the public so that everyone can benefit.
I know many people like myself would pay good $$$ to get theirs done and they could earn lots of money.

If MS finds a way to prevent backups going on live this could actually be beneficial for MS.
