erikk there is this amazing thing called google...
So I have tried this with my laptop using the final fantasy XI OXM disc that I got with the mag and it says unknown game disc. So I opened and old dvd rom drive I had and did the swap method and it told me cyclic redundecy check. So I opened this BTC 8x dvd burner I have here, its relativley new, and alas I am getting teh cyclic redundency check error. Any ideas any1 ?
I just realized this is my first post, long time reader as my join date suggests, but first time poster!!

Just to clarify I am not pushing the eject button I actualley dismanteled my drives...
Also just noticed a new version of WxRipper YAY!!!!!!! What amazing timing!!!!!
Update: So I got the 1.2 version and its working fine now using my BTC drive gonna go back and check the other drive and the laptop just outof curiosity, and I must say Gael360 your hard work is much appreciated I know what a bitch it is to code with dotnet sometimes and your tool really rocks, keep up the good work bro!!
Update: ok im using 1.2 and its working alot better, im using the Final Fantasy XI game disc NTSC and im using king arthur DVD which wndows recognizes in explorer as 7.4 gb's which is the biggest I have here (might be my problem) I go to add game to the database just to see what happens, and it says cyclic redundency check, but it did find the magic number for the Final Fantasy XI, so I swapped discs again to try to get the magic number for DOA4 and I got the same cyclic error, im gonna try to rip Final Fantasy and see what happens next.
Update: Ok this is intresting, if I open the drive or not or close WxRipper or not and I try it from my DVD and then to the DOA4 without even inserting the Final Fantasy disc it keeps finding the same magic number for Final Fantasy as if its Cacheing the magic number from teh previous use even after I close the program open the drive etc etc. Gonna try to reboot and im sure that will clear it but maybe a bug in the new version, just wanted to let Gael360 know whats up.
