Legality Of Kiosk Disc
« on: December 28, 2005, 08:42:00 AM »

Does anyone know about the legality of downloading & burning the Kiosk disc?  I know it is illegal to download the PI dumps - as they are original games.  The kiosk only has demos on it - not retail games.  Is it illegal to download "demos"?  Someone should contact Sir William Gatez and see if this is illegal.  It will show up on XBL if you have the disc & run it.  There are some suggestions about disconnecting the harddrive, network cable & setting up a bogus XBL account.  If the Kiosk disc is legal - should we bother pulling the plug?

Copyright infringement is copyright infringement whether it contains a full game, demo game or a random selection of copyrighted 1s and 0s.

Plz just make 1 intelligent post. It doesn't have to be today... just plz. You're killing me with all your dumbass posts I find in all these threads. It's like you just want to say something so bad... but you're not smart enough to contribute to any conversation so you just randomly babble about stupid shit. Seriously, go get your mom.... read through a thread and brainstorm about something intelligent you can say. Then check and double-check to make sure it's not stupid and then get a third opinion from an outside party. Then post it if it passes the final test.

Yes - but are the demos actually copyrighted?  Is there someway to check on a copyrights website?  I figure the full versions are copyrighted - but possibly not the demos...?
