No, you have to mod your xbox first. This can be done very easily though, you have to solder pin 16 from the CPU to pin 17, pin 22 to 23 and pin 69 to 70 and then it should work.

Heheh, you crazy Americans. Seriously though, if you have to make modifications to an original Xbox, what makes you think the modifications aren't required on the new one? Did logic leave these people or what? People are mad nowadays...
