I have successfully hacked the xbox 360 to run copied games, it also works to play backup xbox games as well. I have also run xbox mediacenter on the xbox360 and it works perfectly. You do not need a mod chip for this, it is a simple 1 wire mod. I have a picture of the hack and where to join to the chips. I need webspace to upload the image, I do not have webspace to upload the file.

I'm on xboxlive, the games work fine on that. For those that have not got an xbox yet, I recommend you to import a xbox 360 from Japan as they are much cheaper than in the USA and will be more avalible. When you recieve the xbox360, perform the mod and you'll save yourself alot of money. I believe the xbox360 will sell for $310 US in Japan.

I just modded my Xbox 360 to play Xbox games without a hard drive - I glued my Xbox to the side! Hooray!!

no, you havent hacked the 360. youve mspainted a line onto a pic of a 360 board.
you dont even know what the chips do (the chip and the bigger chip isnt very reassuring)
how does it play backups, theres no way to dump them yet?
and finally, XBMC is for a completely different freaking archetecture.

YEA, I'm sure M$ spent thousands of dollars improving the xbox 360 security so you could mod it with one wire bridge.

LOL this is probably instructions on how to fry your mobo, so you would be an idiot to try it.
