Ok got 250GB for my server
Server is now on http not https
FTP server is nomore
DL is capped 25kbps
Webserver on port 2701

This is a Steam CS Server Auto Installer and launcher with uninstall
very simple to use, just for those who would like to use the xbox a lan server or dedicated server. The settings are configured and with mods like

adminmod
amxmod
starthealth
amx_weapon
amx_revive
couple more
metamod
statsme
entmod
bunnyjump

If the default doesnt suit you then you can edit the files to ur needs
(Maybe Ill add a script for setting all the admins and mods up to ur needs)

The install is simple
All you do is put "steaminstall" and "hldsinstall.tar.bz2" on / (This is the root of the xbox)

I'm sure most of you have like proftpd or samba to do that
if not then you could ask for my smb config and emerge samba
Now install

cd /
./steaminstall
and follow the instructions (the instructions say wait lol)

When done
to run ur server

steamserver

and thats it, its will run ur server with default parameters
it also asks if u want custom params for ppl who know them

Uninstall

just type

steamuninstall

Well as you know making this is pointless a normal guy could do all this himself LOL
well atleast it saves you some typeing as some TVs arent clear

Well its up on the FTP

roughly 250mb

so you dont need to dl anything
You might wanna get a resumable ftp client other than windows if you have dial up speeds

Since there is already a small gentoox pro version now I will stop on mine

wierd it seems to work for me

u have to use the port 27021 not 21

usename ftp
pass XboX
address potato-bob.game-host.org

I have had that error before
from another ftp

Ill fix it tommarrow
never really learned how to config proftpd after all this LOL

I have a prob with the authentication, well I dont like to be hacked as it has happened
so The prob is

I cant figure out the solution, make me seem dumb (Now I feel Dumb)

o id switch it to https but it seems to be blocked and i guess for now you could just dl with non-getright isnt there an option to download without it by rightclicking?

well i just got an rma on my 160gb hd for my server back from maxtor and they sent me back a 250gb maxline plus II

now thats alot better than what i sent to them
lucky i did my warranty on the hd lasts only till october

ill switch my website to http later but im just busy now adays and i have other ppl screwing around with the cs server, just because u all get admin doesnt mean u should have too much fun with it, thats my job

well just installed the hd so there was some downtime and i am about to format it.

o and dl is capped to 25kbps so im sorry

and if you find a bug in the scripts ugh just post
