Why Mythtv And Not Freevo

I know there has been alot of posts regarding Fiendtech MCE which uses Mythtv but why not use freevo instead.  the requirements to run freevo on a PC are minimal compared to Myth... I am not knocking mythtv I just think for a 733Mhz Processor freevo would be better?

I just want to get some feedback and see what other people think

mythtv has alot more featurs then freevo. not to metion freevo runs fine on xbox linux it was aruldy done. you dont need a special version of freevo for xbox linux just merge it and run it.
