Well thanks guys, just wanted to make absolutely sure. I'll try it out in my PC and hopefully get some signs of life there. If not, guess I'll have to call WD and see if they'll get me a new one. Sorry if I became a bother, but I was just looking for other peoples' opinions as well, this was quite an investement on my part and didn't want any uncertainties. Thanks again.
