Random "format Not Supported" Messages Using Connect 360

I'm sharing the iTunes library on my Mac using Connect 360 and randomly getting bad format messages from the 360. Sometimes it will play all of my movies, other times it will refuse to play half of them. The movies are all H264 encoded in Handbrake or VisualHub with mp4 and m4v extensions. All of the movies are on an external drive connected to the Mac, and all of them have played on the 360 at some point, so I know for a fact the codec is supported. I've rebooted and made sure the external drive wasn't in sleep mode, so I'm fairly certain that isn't the problem. Am I missing something?

this happens to me randomly also, I go to play let's say...Vacation...For some reason all of a sudden it will say..Can not play this format...or something like that...  I back out and try again and bam.....it plays fine.  I think it is just a hiccup between router/xbox/modem...  etc...  HTH
