if you only want to know what can be streamed from a pc running vista media center, xp mce or windows media connect, go look up the ofiicial details on xbox.com, but there are definitely more options to consider.

3rd party softwares opens up the possibilities of streaminig media to your 360 and considering all of those, the only video files you cannot stream to 360 are mkv... AFAIK just about everything else can be streamed.

You can also burn videos to a DVD & goto the dashboard video prompt and select the disc that you have your videos burned on.
