Can/how Do You Display Movie Images

For all of my movies/tv shows I have a preview picture. This has worked great using my xbox 1 and xbmc, but recently I have been using my xbox 360 to view videos.

My question is- can/how do you get movie art images to show up for folders or files?

Currently my images are just stored as "folder.jpg". I have tried renaming them to the same thing as the file or folder (ex 28 weeks later.avi ---> 28 weeks later.jpg) and neither work.

I've searched all over the place and can't find an answer. Any help would be great, I'd really like to see those movie posters and dvd covers again!

the 360 doesnt support it (unless you use MCE)
