Xbox 360 Unable To "see" Pc
« on: March 18, 2008, 12:50:00 PM »

I have Windows Media Player 11 installed on two desktop PCs and a notebook PC at home.  I've set the sharing on all three to allow the Xbox 360 to access all media files.  Unfortunately, I can only access one PC and the notebook from the 360.  The other PC doesn't even show up as a source.

Anyone have any ideas what to do?  I've tried reinstalling WMP11 multiple times, but get the same results each time.  The PC "sees" the 360 (from the page to allow sharing), but yet the 360 doesn't "see" the PC (in the media source selection page - only the console and the other two PCs show up).

Thanks in advance for any help.

I had a similar issue seeing Win PCs on a network. I couldn't see one XP PC. If I remember correctly, I had to turn on Netlogon service and I think enable the Guest account.
