didnt another group of assholes make this stupid ass comparison a few months back? the post above mine is a very good point and extremely similar to this article. This is not an operating system comparison people wtf. This screams of apple wanna-be elitist bullshit mindset that you find in your local apple store or starbucks.

I think a more interesting comparison would be Apple TV    vs. XBMC    
I do agree with eeboarder1984 though. The Apple TV is "silent, elegant, and gorgeous"

So does does the aesthetic beauty of an item really have that much of an impact on your electronic purchases?
And like spinr34 suggested, try turning up the volume on your speakers.  I use this same trick by turning up the volume on my car stereo when engine noise bothers me.
