Encoding Wmv-hd For 720p Streaming Over 802.11g

I, too, must resurrect this topic a bit.  I've been trying to convert MKV blu-ray rips to WMV, but preserving the DTS mix.  Unfortunately the general guide (http://www.ryanwalsh...60_Playback.pdf) is a bit misleading, as I was told this covered DTS.  However, if you check TMPGEnc's FAQ... (https://secure.pegas...ng=en&faqid=782), they quite clearly say TMPGEnc does NOT support DTS.

I've been scouring the internet for days to find a way to get DTS into the WMV file without down-mixing to AC3, but so far to no luck.  It would be great if there was some way to add the functionality to TMPGEnc, as all-in-all the software is great and gives a very thorough interface for the encoding process that most of other programs lack.  But the downgrading to AC3 is unacceptable.

I don't understand why they don't support it; I guess it could be a licensing issue, especially since I have all the codecs necessary on the computer for DTS.

Has anybody had any luck preserving the DTS track when encoding to a high-quality 720p WMV?

Thanks

So any results on the proper bitrates for 802.11g band? I have played a few wmv-hd that were VBR and they played flawlessly. I was wondering if anyone has found anything that worked for them. Maybe drop a template on us. I have been trying various bitrates to determine the best. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
