Default Display Mode For Videos

every new video i play plays at its true resolution. Most are divx avis and appear as windows about half the size of my tv. So I have to goto "Display mode" then change it to Stretch every time. the 360 appears to "remember" the setting for each video , although i think it only remembers about a max of 15.Is there a settings to allow me to make Stretch the default for all new videos I play?
XBMC on my xbox 1 does this no problem
