Hi

I got a new 360 elite yesterday, it tried to connect it to my Vista running laptop and it wouldnt work, On the WMC screen, it searches for the 360 but doesnt find it and says firewall upnp etc etc, I cannot seem to get around how to get it to work and it is driving me crazy!

My network is like so

I tried a little port forwarding but i didnt get far!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) which was a pitty, i have no actual idea what to try next!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Ok, I'll give it a go connecting the laptop via ethernet!!

I dont have any HD content anyway, let alone a HD TV !! lol

Any idea how to get it to work like the first diagramme i did at the top of the page ??

Also, I can only play media on the 360 from my laptop if i use media center on the 360, I cant just play it using the 360 dashboard, although i can see it!

Any help is much appreciated!!
