Ok so i ordered my 80 Gig zune this week, and am trying to get my mp3's all in line. I had given up on making my 360 and computer talk, but have tried again recently with fresh installs and the new zune software, and it was working..
ok so i went and tried to clean up my tags and get everything straight with MP3tag.
got them all looking good.. zune seems to like them too.. wow.. ok.. so i fire up my 360 today and um.. well it doesnt like my mp3's anymore.. little red circles next to 95% of them.
Im assuming its in the tag somehow.. because they are all MP3's still..
ok so on a sample batch I tried to convert them to WMA files in WMP 10 and see if maybe that was the preferred format..
Nope.. they still dont want to play.
So.. Anyone have any ideas?
1. What is the absolute preferred format for zune/360 -- I want to get this triangle working the way its intended too...
My laptop is running the Zune software.. latest ver, now
MP11 now (it just updated itself)
and is MCE so i can use the media center if thats the preferred method.. but it didnt seem to stream well in the past.. i have been finding zune to be the best.. plus its what my player will be using.. so I would like to keep that..
Any thoughts would be great.
