How Will Things Be After Fall Update?

Hi, I'd like to ask how will videos play on the 360 after the update.

I read all that was to read, I think.

For regulr Divx files it will be easy as drag n drop.

But for MKV files it won't work.

So now we will still have to reencode it all?

Or can we rip, or demux, the video and audio from the MKV and build a new and 360 compatible file without having to go with a hours long procedure?

What will be the fast and quality way out for HD on the 360?
