Too Much Crap Files, How To Resync?

I would try going to the system blade, then disconnect from your networked computer. Once it's disconnected, reconnect by going to media tab -> computer. This should re-load the database. Haven't done this personally.

I haven't used Media Center under Vista at all, except to watch live TV... but when I was using WinXP MCE 2005 it always cluttered My Music with duplicate files and such. I had to clear and re-import everything. This happened quite a bit, so I stopped using it altogether.
