New Vista Media Extenders - Xbox360 Update?

Hi.  I've been reading about the new Vista media center extenders from Linksys and D-Link on engadget.  Sounds like Microsoft has added the DVIX and XVID codecs, so that streaming is now possible with no transcoding.   Any word on whether the 360 will be getting an update to include these codecs?
