xvid support or XBMC was all I was waiting for.....
Be nice to have H264 though as most of my video archives are in that format...

Well, also DiVX is a fully Licensed and Copyrighted program, that had originated from a hacked program, but I guess times changed... and XViD is open project form of DiVX... either way, everyone tries to port them over to everything and anything with a screen and memory device built together...
but I don't see why they would allow playback of such files... it's the only reason why iTunes Video library is still afloat... otherwise, i'd think you'd see a huge hit in sales.
I still prefer WMV... it's pretty decent and can playback HD content on the 360 in relatively the same quality and filesize as XViD... so I could careless... but hey, the more options the better... but this is a spec and hype i'll believe it when I see it...
