These are BRAND NEW OEM drives, not refurbished. As you all know this model is discontinued and is extremely rare. This drive has been professionally modified and ready for "plug n' play" in your xbox as direct replacement. It will read Original XBOX, CD-R/-RW, and DVD-R/-RW faster than xbox stock drive. It has a pre-built custom connector on the back for the yellow dvd cable as shown below. No extra Y-power cable needed since power is supplied thru the yellow dvd cable like usual. You only need a simple modification to xbox casing to fit the drive. Installation instruction will be provided upon buyer's request.

Bump for great seller.

I ordered a beige modded samsung from XboXMan last month, and I have had nothing but good results. No problems installing it, I was done in 10 min or so. The drive plays everything that I've put in it from cd-rs to dvdrws and everything in between its all worked, even some things that I thought were bad media or backups on my original Thompson it plays flawlessly. Very quick shipping, and it was packaged nicely, emailed me the tracking #, was shipped out Monday morning, when I ordered it late Saturday night, and I got it Wednesday. To sum it up, an A+++ Seller with an A+++ product, I would gladly buy from again.

Yes, its possible with some modification to the xbox case and I will send your instruction to do that. Its a very simple task, you only need to cut a some plastic parts.

Well I ordered friday sent through paypal and per the tracking number that was promptly sent I received it today. I'll Let everyone know after the install. From everything that's happened so far I can't give anything but praise to the seller.

Perfect. Popped the face of the tray off sawed the plastic screw pass throughs on the case and it's installed perfectly.

It runs EVERYTHING!!!!!!
