In the future designs will be compatible. If you want an almost guarenteed non-V1.3 console you can purchase a refurbished Xbox.

For the last 25 Cheapmods in this batch I will include a seperate SST chip flashed so if you suffer from a bad flash you can perform a hotswap and reflash (just for these last 25).

EDIT: Now taking orders on premoded Xbox consoles.

I know alkane great guy he installed my mod chip for me and did an excelent job especially with the swith (not to mention the other goodies he gave me) any way i highly recomend buying from him as ive had mine for 6 months and no problems.

hey Alkane,

i got an xbox that frags, and i thought it couldn't read the TSOP, and so i got a cheapmod, but it still doesn't work. couple questions:

if i put solder in all 16 holes, would that make a difference? would the chip still work?

and is there ANY possiblility that my cheapmod doesn't have a bios on it. i'm really stumped with this. i soldered the chip on 3 times and it still doesn't boot. and i can solder one end of a wire to the d0, and solder the other end to the metallic circle where the screw goes in, right?

length is about 3 1/2 inches and the lpc wires are the same guage as the d0 wire. maybe the black piece on the chip isn't soldered well enough. should i add more solder to it?

First try getting the length to around 2 inches
