You could also try out Orb. It's still in beta form.

i would recommend the Zune software, minimal one time setup.  I could not get WMP11 or WMC sharing to work.  The Zune software works great, you only need to run it once and the application does not need to be open to continue sharing.

Did you make sure to turn on sharing in the software? Sometimes you also need to restart the 360.

Is Orb into its final version yet?  Is anyone using Orb to do streaming video?

Well today I decided to try the streaming out on my new Xbox 360. I went through all the steps for the Zune setup since I run XP Pro SP2 and that's what they recommended. The Zune software would show my xbox and I have permission enabled for it, but on the Xbox it would never find a computer. I spent two hours trying to fix it and NEVER did get it to work. I even tryed WMP11 and had the same results.

I am not new at this stuff either. I run linux but have a XP rig running for stuff like this. I have all the network settings correct and every other setting the manual recommends (or doesn't for that matter).

To make a long story short, I found this thread and had never heard of "Orb" so I decided to give it a shot. I was streaming video in well under 5 minutes.

Huge props to the Orb team, you built a much more solid product the Microsoft (not too hard to do though haha)!

Thanks guys and good luck.
