Here is a better guide that I used for tversity and it worked for me.  It was the firewall that was keeping mine from connecting.

Another simple one to use if you have xp media center edition is transcode 360.

Okay thanks a bunch for the guide,  i got it all up and running but when i go to click on a movie, press the "Play" thing to start playing the movie, nothing happens and i can keep pressing play or go back. Some of my South Park is still not working, says that its not supported, correct me please if im rong but shouldnt tversity allow me to play all vids?  wink.gif  i have like every single codec there is and WMP11 can play everything sept the occasional wierd one. Surely theres some setting i need to fix, i mean i can see all my vids on the server from my 360.
THanks

Edit: Restarted it and it worked biggrin.gif  Thanks for the help.

Thanks, i tried the method suggested but when i drop the video file onto the bat file, the comand prompt came up for a split second and went away, and vlc didnt open.

did you install VLC on directory as the guide? if not, just right click the .bat file, then "edit". This should auto open in Notepad. then type/edit out your VLC installed directory e.g. "C:\Program Files\VLC" in the first line

smile.gif   The only thing I ever had a problem with was try to get tversity to add things through my network.  I ended up just installing it on the computer that had all my music and movies.  That computer is an older computer with a Celeron 1.3 processor and ony 384mb memory.  So it does do converting too well.  That's why I use Transcode 360 with my xp media center edition computer or just use my older xbox with xbmc. smile.gif
