Cannot Stream To 360

To make a long story short, I simply cannot stream media to my Xbox 360 from my Media Center PC. I have even narrowed down the problem to one thing.
The service Universal Plug and Play Device Host will plainly not start.
The error I get when trying to start it is...

Hey mate

Click start - run
type services.msc

browse down to U

Right click universal plug and play..

Click start

Then try it.

You may get an error while starting it as i don't know why it would be off in the first place.
