Only thing I see is 720p, 1080i and 1080p with my component cables. Don't know if you can see more options when using a VGA cable.

These are the choices I get:

640*480
848*480
1024*768
1280*720
1280*768
1280*1024
1360*768
1920*1080

But im not sure if there are more resoulotions that my monitor cant display

Thanks for the info. I'll apply the update this weekend, probably tomorrow. I see I must upgrade my television to HDTV to take advantage of 1080P. Hopefully there some good deals on Black Friday.

Well, Circuit City sells a great 50" Samsung 1080P DLP TV for around $2000, I bought one about 1-2 weeks ago & I've been enjoying the TV.

make sure you get a tv that can take 1080p signals from either VGA or component. I have a sony SXRD which is only 1080p through HDMI. its VGA connection max out at 768. sucks to be me
