You don't actually put them on your HD with XPMCE, you can just stream them from your PC. I think there are some aftermarket connector cables out that let you transfer, just search this site.

If you dont have a media center pc then get a regular xbox with xbox media center and use that to stream from your regular pc. The 360 isnt hacked like the original xbox is..YET
